When I finish a big project and step back, it always looks like there’s been a storm in my studio. Little bits of paper and fabric have settled everywhere and it’s a mixed-up mess. In cleaning up, I find things I can’t quite let go of that combine to make new, small works. These Petite Bricolages are no more than 6” x 6” and often 4” x 4” or less. They are constructed of paper, fabric, inks, thread, and found objects — whatever is laying around the studio.
