In this series of monoprints, I am exploring the elements – air, water, fire and earth. I live near the ocean in California where alternating flood and drought are expected, where fire season has expanded to include much of the year and where earthquakes are inevitable. In this series of monoprints I am exploring the dynamic tension among these powerful forces that define our day to day lives and perhaps our destiny.
